Thoughts As I Awaken
Problems and blockages are easily resolved at a level higher than the problem. Most of the things that we perceive as challenges are low-consciousness blocks. Trying to resolve these issues at the level reinforces the illusion and is often very difficult. Connecting to essence and source opens one up to higher levels where often the problems simply disappear. For years, I’d toss and turn at night worrying about my job, my family, money, relationships, or some other low-level problems. Inevitably, these “problems” were illusions based on fear and the illusion of disconnection. As I’ve connected to the source, connected to my essence, these “problems” disappear, things start showing up in my life and creative solutions present themselves. Porn Revisited – On Porn, Sex, and the Evolving Man
I love interesting comments from readers, like the one from Nathan, aka “The Love Shop Man” at (http://stiffcompetition.wordpress.com). I consider myself a “sex-positive” coach and celebrate all the positive expressions of sexuality. My concerns are with what is in the individual’s best interests and leaving the world a better place. I’m certainly not against porn, though my last post on the subject sounded like it – I wrote that a little too hastily. A friend and mentor of mine, Destin Gerek, is in the process of creating some amazing heart-centered adult video that will be very entertaining and educational. I haven’t looked at the “PUA” blogs and forums in probably six years, which would be around the time Neil Strauss brought us “The Game.” In an effort to improve my outreach by talking to people who might benefit from what I’m doing (say, men who want to get their “inner game” handled and have that badass confidence), I ventured back into the “seduction community.” It’s changed a bit. My first impression was it reminded me of walking into a Las Vegas casino – all these media images, flashing ads, video postings, links here and there, a total assault on the senses. Total ADD on pretty much all these sites, it gave me a headache after thirty seconds. And all these porn-inspired images and BUY NOW messages, and so many confusing, contradictory and just plain weird concepts. Someone out there is selling a product on “Text Game,” because apparently it’s *really important* to be a badass texter. Yeeeeah.
